Coconut Milk + Cream
Prep & Sit time approx. 10-20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
Mature coconut or dried shredded coconut
Water and/or fresh coconut water
INSTRUCTIONS
1) With something sharp, make a small hole in the coconut
2) Pour water out of coconut. into a container and set aside
3) Safely crack open the coconut and scrape out the coconut meat
4) Measure how much coconut mean you have with a kitchen scale
5) To make Milk: Use 1:2 ratio for extra creamy milk or 1:4 ratio for less creamy milk
example: 1 cup of coconut shreds to 2 cups of water or 1 ounce of coconut meat to 4 ounces of water. Play with the ratios and see what you like best!
