Coconut Extract

Prep time approx. 5 minutes

brew time approx. 2-4 weeks

INGREDIENTS

  • Dried coconut shreds or fresh pulp leftover from making coconut milk

  • Clean jar

  • Alcohol - vodka or rum is best

  • Glass dropper bottle


INSTRUCTIONS

1) Fill clean jar with coconut shreds or pulp

2) Pour alcohol over coconut until it is covered, close jar lid, label with contents and shake.

3) Let it infuse for 2-4 weeks, shaking daily

4) Strain and bottle

Measurements

It is up to you whether you want to measure out your extract. If you want to be exact and measure it out use a 1:2 ratio of coconut to alcohol. This means 1 part coconut to 2 parts alcohol.

For Example: 2 ounces of coconut would require 4 ounces of alcohol
